Victorβs recent act of confining Jordan in his infamous underground prison/wine cellar/torture chamber on The Young and the Restless brings back memories of its previous use.
This location was last notably employed when Victor detained Juliaβs lover there. At the time, Julia was pregnant, and Victor, having secretly undergone a vasectomy, was convinced that the child belonged to Michael Scott.
This moment is one of the many dramatic episodes that highlight Victorβs complex character and tumultuous relationships.
Not only did the baby Julia miscarried turn out to be Victorβs, but then along came Victoria (Victor ignored her for the first year of her life for the same reason; youβd think heβd have learned his lesson), Nicholas, Adam, Abbyβ¦and a couple more random miscarriages from random love interests. But there is one more potential Newman heir unaccounted for.
My Girl
Julia (Meg Bennett, who was remembered recently) eventually forgave Victor for his little dungeon prank. Nobody can stay mad at Victor for long.
He is such a delightful imp. Years after their horrible, abusive, and barbaric marriage, Julia and Victor were such good pals that she confides in him her desire to have a baby β on her own.
Victor totally supported her. Heβs a very supportive guy. Julia eventually gave birth to a daughter named Jamie, who she claimed was the secret child of Eric Garrison β one of Ashley exes.
But, at the time, Y&R also hinted that Jamie might be Victorβs via the same method Ashley used to conceive Abby and Diane thought she was using to conceive Kyle β who, for the record, was called Christian for the first few months of his life, when Diane insisted the tot was Victorβs.
Truth Time
What if Jamie really is Victorβs? And what if Julia only told the young woman that on her deathbed? (Bennett recently passed away, so letβs presume Julia has, as well.) Jamie can sweep into Genoa City, here to claim whatβs hers.
Remember how delighted Victoria and Nick were to meet their little brother, Adam?
They should be equally thrilled to see Jamie, especially if she is a savvy businesswoman like her mom. Victor is currently unhappy with Victoria, Nick, and Adam (he barely remembers Abby exists).
Wouldnβt he be delighted to groom chip-off-the-block Jamie into the successor heβs always wanted?
