In this week’s episode of Emmerdale, Vinny Dingle makes a bold move and kisses Gabby Thomas! Having been given food for thought by her stepmum Laurel some weeks back, unlucky-in-love Gabby Thomas has started to see her good old mate Vinny Dingle in a new light.

Earlier in the week, the two friends met for drinks, and a spark ignited between them. In a romantic turn of events, Vinny leans in for a kiss, and this time, Gabby doesn’t pull away! Could this be the start of a new romance in the village?

#### **Belle Dingle’s Struggle Continues**

Meanwhile, at Dale Head, Belle Dingle’s head is in a mess. After being forced to tell Tom that she’s pregnant, Belle has been love-bombed by her abusive husband. Tom, who is over the moon about the news, had previously coerced and abused Belle, making her fearful of his reaction.

Belle had hoped to hide the pregnancy from Tom to figure out what she wanted to do. However, she found herself having to reveal the truth to stop him from hitting her. Tom promised to be a better husband, and Belle dared to hope that he meant it. But Tom soon goes back on his word.

Belle is mortified when she walks into the café and receives a round of congratulations from Jimmy and others. Tom had clearly broken his promise to keep the news private. Trying to control her anger, Belle confronts Tom, who once again tries to manipulate her.

Is Belle’s heart really in it when Tom persuades her to announce their pregnancy news to everyone?

#### **Ruby’s Guilt and Confession**

In another part of the village, Ruby is struggling under the weight of her guilt. She feels responsible for Ethan’s death after mowing him down with her car. Ruby is barely holding it together, and her guilt is eating her up inside.

Charles, the vicar and grieving father, is taken aback when he finds Ruby in the church, gazing at a photograph of his dead son. As Charles prepares the church for Ethan’s funeral, he allows Ruby to comfort him, unaware of her role in his son’s death.

Back at home, Ruby is in bits as her son Nicky continues to shun her. Unable to take any more, Ruby vows to turn herself in and admit she took revenge on Ethan for what he did to Nicky.
