The Bold And The Beautiful: Double Dose Of Sheila? Y&R Crossover In Works? Kimberlin J. Brown Weighs In
Looks like The Bold and the Beautiful is keeping one of the longest-running rivalries in soap opera history alive! The classic feud persists between Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey Bregman). At the Daytime Emmys, Kimberlin Brown was asked about her take on whether Sheila might return to Y&R. After all, it is right where her reign of terror first began. Find out what she said!
Is Sheila Carter Headed to Y&R?
For savvy soap fans, the mention of a character who is currently MIA often hints at a possible comeback. Does Brown thinkΒ Sheila might make a returnΒ to Y&R? The question becomes more valid, given the CBS soap has recently mentioned her character on the show. Brown admitted about Sheila being mentioned, βYou know, I wasnβt aware of that.β She added, βAll I can say is βnever say never. That would be a lot of fun. A lot of fun.β
In addition, the show luminary expressed her happiness that the soap reversed its earlier decision to kill off Sheila. Earlier this year, they revealed that the character Steffy had killed was actually Sheilaβs look-alike, Sugar, in self-defense. Subsequently, fans had a sense of skepticism about whether the show had truly killed Sheila for good. Plus, when Brown left the show in the past, B&B celebrated her departure with a cake ceremony.

Kim shared, βThey actually talked about doing that, but I was in Montana.β She was so thrilled upon learning that her character still had some tricks up her sleeve. The star explained, βI had kind of resigned myself to the fact that Iβd had over 35 years [as Sheila].β Brown obviously felt very lucky and left for Montana. She bought a ranch and started building a home.
Furthermore, the dramatic battle between Sheila and her nemesis Steffy, portrayed by Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, was certainly intense. But wouldnβt a final farewell for Sheila and Kimberlin Brown be even more epic? βI would hope it would be big,β Brown agreed. The soap legendβs excitement at the possibility, coupled with the showβs unpredictable nature, certainly leaves the door open.
